Please note that this is a provisional date by which the dorm administration asked us to hand in room occupancy. We are currently discussing with the dorm admin in order to extend this date. News will be advertised here and on our social media outlets.

How the EGG is financed
EGG teachers teach for free but are reimboursed for their travel expenses and have free accommodation in the dorm. Also, the classrooms are rented for 1000 Euros. These are the basic expenses that the EGG needs to cover.
We have received financial support from GLOW as well as from the Czech Language Department of Brno University, and we have done a fund drive on GoFundMe (still active).
The registration fees for students represent the bare accommodation price for 13 nights (Sunday to Saturday) charged by the dorm. We ask 20 Euros more from Westerners to support our costs, which students living in former communist countries (below: Easterners) do not pay: the EGG is traditionally geared towards former communist countries.
The regular accommodation is in double rooms (you can choose your room mate in the registration form), but single rooms are also available.
If you need to arrive a few days early or stay a few days after the school ends, or if you want to stay for a shorter period, please let us know in the registration form.
All this comes down to:
- two weeks (13 nights: Sunday July 26th to Saturday August 8th) in a double room: 270E
- two weeks (13 nights: Sunday July 26th to Saturday August 8th) in a single room: 470E
- Easterners: two weeks (13 nights: Sunday July 26th to Saturday August 8th) in a double room: 250E
- two weeks (13 nights: Sunday July 26th to Saturday August 8th) in a single room: 450E
- attendance only (no accommodation): 100E
