LaTeX workshop and Open podium student presentations in week 2

During week 2 there will be more activities in the last slot of the schedule starting at 17:00.

  • On Tuesday (30th July): LaTeX workshop (phonology room) – make sure to bring a laptop.
  • On Wednesday (31st July) and possibly Thursday (1st August), depending on how many are interested in presenting, we will have an Open podium (syntax room). You can present some of your work, discuss it, ask for suggestions in the form of a short talk (10 minutes + 5 min questions/feedback). Time permitting in principle everybody will be included (on a first-come-first-served basis). The schedule can be found here.
  • If you want to present, the deadline for a short abstract submission is Sunday 28th, midnight. Include the title of your talk, your name, affiliation and a short abstract. The abstracts should not be more than a single page long, Times New Roman size 12, references can be on a separate page. Please, incorporate all numbered examples/trees/figures/graphs into the text; do not put them separately. Send your abstracts in a PDF format to mates.kundrat@gmail.com
